The Government of Ontario’s Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration has created a website offering general information to immigrants about life in Ontario including living and working in Ontario, legal rights and responsibilities, and information for youth. In addition, the province has made municipal immigration websites a priority, and are funding them as part of a five-year, $10-million provincial program. These websites function as a one-stop resource, providing essential information and links on topics such as owning a business, affordable housing, finding a job and local schools.
