Newcomer and Immigrant Information

The Government of Ontario’s Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration has a well developed website offering general information to immigrants about life in Ontario including living and working in Ontario, legal rights and responsibilities, and information for youth. In recent years they, in partnership with Citizenship and Immigration Canada, have funded a number of web-based community ‘portals’ for newcomers in many regions of Ontario. These websites function as a one -stop source of information and resources for immigrants considering moving to or living in different communities in Ontario.
