| CASSA's Public Transit Guide |
|
CASSA releases a guide to public transit for newcomers and immigrants in Peterborough. This handy pocket-sized guide is a wealth of information - on the basics of bus travel, on how taking the bus is connected to health and the environment, and on community organizations that provide support to newcomers, immigrants and racialized peoples. An especially unique feature of this guide is the information on what to do if something happens to you on the bus (something discriminatory, something racist, something homophobic). For local distribution, copies are currently available at the office of the Community and Race Relations Committee (CRRC) on Sherbrooke Street, Peterborough. This pamphlet was released on March 25, 2010 in Peterborough.More information on WCO's work in Peterborough
