PROMPT has two key objectives:

• To build and enhance the capacity of internationally educated professionals and tradespeople to become the collective immigrant voice on policy issues related to access to professions and trades
• To develop policy recommendations to increase access to professions and trades, and advocate for changes based on these recommendations with the long-term goal of improving the economic and social integration of immigrants

The two objectives are strongly interrelated. Through the development of policy recommendations the capacity of the roundtable will be increased, and through the roundtable the lived experience and expertise of immigrants will be harnessed into policy recommendations.
