Established in 1998, the Toronto Training Board is a catalyst for training solutions. It is an independent, not-for-profit corporation, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors Mandate o Analyze the labour market and employment trends in the City of Toronto to find out where the skills shortages are and what the training requirements will be. o Recommend strategies for meeting the training needs of Toronto residents—employers, the employed and the unemployed. o Work to ensure that training is accessible and equitable. o Promote lifelong learning. http://www.ttb.on.ca |
